Kanke Dam is a tourist spot in the city of Ranchi. The name is very popular among its citizens, however the spot is not very much popular. (Spots in its vicinity, Rock Garden and Machli Ghar are famous). The best part about this spot is that it is a getaway in itself. Outside its campus, there is a big market for vegetables and fishes. There is a fresh quality of air, the surface is okay for strolling and walking. However, the quality of snacks is not that great. The view of dam and sitting near it makes feel good though.
